Our client, a caterer based in SW London, is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Events Coordinator to join a really great team with a great working culture, looking after the Sales & Planning for Weddings and Private Events.

Driving sales and maximising revenue whilst building strong, positive relationships and acting as a brand ambassador and strengthening the brand image.

The Role:

* Convert Wedding catering sales across a variety of venues both reactively and proactively
* Account manage; retaining and developing existing clients whilst also growing the database
* Venue management; building relationships with the operations team and promoting good venue partnerships
* Ensure high quality service is delivered across every event, with every client and every venue ensuring repeat business
* Attend familiarisation trips, site visits and client entertainment as required
* Proactive market research; wedding trends, showcases, tradeshows

About the ideal candidate:

* Previous experience in Sales and Events for a caterer or venue
* Strong admin and organisational skills
* A natural people person and team player
* Creative, motivated and positive
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Have a genuine interest in the weddings & private events market
* Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required due to the nature of the wedding industry; flexibility and lieu days/good holidays offered in return
