Nestled away in a neighbourhood area of West London this pub kitchen is looking for a sous chef. The pub dining room attracts foodies from the local area and around the City. The menus change with the seasons and with daily and weekly specials to keep the keen foodie customers constantly entertained. The menus are influenced by British seasons, the produce that the suppliers have and are constantly evolving the plating and ingredients to keep the customers interested and the chefs learning!

As Sous chef you must be confident to run the kitchen in the head chefs absence, to have input into the specials, train and develop the existing 12 chef brigade and ensure that the kitchen hygiene is of an exceptional standard to be in line with hospitality and catering standards. No two days are the same in this kitchen which will ensure that you are kept interested and busy.

The team are happy to look at a chef with only a short spell as sous chef as the head chef is happy to grow and nurture this chef into a senior management role. The salary will reflect the chefs background and ability and can go up to £35,000 for a superstar sous chef!
