Meetings and Events Coordinator
£18,000 per annum
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Meetings and Events based in London! If you are proactive, self-motivated and demonstrate a high degree of initiative and determination, this is the role for you.
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally lasting over a year, and knowledge of Opera systems is an essential. In addition to great communication skills, and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities will include:
*To deal with and process all enquiries for any meeting or event ensuring that clients needs are fully understood and met
*Conduct showrounds for prospective clients and facilitate the upselling and co-ordination of bookings for Food and Beverage and accommodation services.
*Liaise with prospective clients to discuss event, facilities, room lay-out & menus to include managing the negotiation and contractual agreements and subsequently sending out necessary proposals.
*Ensure all bookings are accepted, recorded, and confirmed in accordance with company standard
*To promote a helpful and professional image to the client and give full co-operation to any client requiring assistance, with prompt, caring and helpful attitude.
*To undertake administrational duties ie. photocopying, typing, faxing etc, as and when required by the client
Ideal candidate will be immaculately presented, coupled with experience of having worked in a customer facing role.
