A leading contract caterer is seeking to appoint a creative and dedicated sous chef to work at one of their high-profile central London sites. Paying 32k on essentially a Monday to Friday rota, this is a not to be missed opportunity to join a cutting-edge food operation.

Brief job spec

* Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a sous chef in hospitality B&I or high-end restaurant
* Up to date with current food trends
* Have experience with menu planning & costings
* Flexibility with hours and place of work (several key sites all within central London)
* Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
* Ability to work as part of a large team – this is inclusive of our wider teams across London in shared operational spaces
* Enjoys helping junior members of the team express themselves via the food we produce and drives their development
* 32K annual salary

Details of role and benefits

* 7am – 3.30pm set hours (these are however subject to change in quieter times when there are still events on in the evening)
* Mon to Friday operation but must be flexible to suit business needs
* 32k per annum
* Paid overtime – hourly rate Mon – Fri, double time at weekends

* On successful completion of probation period, a monthly additional £200 travel allowance is added to all employees’ salaries
