One of the most prestigious country hotels in Berkshire is searching for an exceptionally talented Head Pastry chef to lead their team. Comprising of Afternoon tea, seasonally changing menus and the onsite bakery this Head pastry chef will need a real aptitude for people management and a strong foundation of all pastry skills.

The Job:

* Salary package of up to £45Kpa
* A good shift pattern
* Working with locally sourced, seasonal produce
* Set in a charming location with countryside views
* European cuisines with a classic French influence
* Friendly kitchen team
* Work alongside a renowned Head chef
* Prepare deserts for an a la carte and 8 course tasting menu, afternoon tea and high end functions

What we need from you:

* Previous Pastry chef experience
* An enthusiastic approach to work
* Strong communication skills
* Passport or ID and visa where applicable
* Proof of address i.e. bank statement or utility bill from the last 3 months
* Food hygiene certificate in line with Hospitality and Catering industry standards
* 2 years of references supplied
* National Insurance number
