Executive Pastry Chef – Large Western Kitchen – Hong Kong

HKD 45,000 pcm – HKD 55,000 pcm

This is a management position who will report to and assist the Executive Sous Chef. You will be working in the Western Kitchen in monitoring the overall production and operation in Pastry Kitchen. The venue is very prestige and has a very developed production team. You will be managing and supporting the production of quality food that meet the expectation and gain satisfaction from the customers and supervising the subordinates in the preparation and cooking of food as well as the execution of proper procedures and standard. The right candidate will be creative, be a strong leader and be a sound communicator. This is a RARE opportunity to work for such a notable establishment. * Train subordinates to get familiar with the technique in producing pastry, bakery and confectionery products
* Develop existing and new menus for different seasons. Create seasonable items.
* Good communication, planning and organising skills
* Mature, responsible and quick decision
* Able to work under pressure
* Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
