Freelance Chef de Partie
Are you a competent Chef de Partie looking for work with a catering and hospitality temp agency with a difference? We hold contracts with many different types of establishments across the hospitality industry and need experienced and reliable Chef de Parties for ongoing work.
Our clients range from rosette and Michelin starred restaurants to elite event companies, 5* hotels in the centre of London, funky niche-market gastro pubs and many well-known chain pubs with amazing employment track records as well as many other opportunities for the right candidate. Many of our events companies work in fabulous and prestigious places in London and the Greater London area, from exclusive clubs to private hire of stunning venues. Our hotels division supplies Chef de Parties to many luxury 5* hotels with excellent world-wide reputations and celebrity chefs. We also need flexible, skilled Chef de Parties with fine dining experience to fill temporary vacancies with many reputable London establishments. Finally, our exhaustive list of pubs and gastro pubs will keep you on your toes with locations throughout London and the surrounding area.
Our rates of pay are from £9/hr PAYE or £11/hr self-employed, with a possibility of £12/hr for more experienced candidates and up to £15/hr for head and sous relief work. We can provide flexibility in your working hours within your times of availability, whether you are available for week-long bookings or simply want casual day or evening/weekend work. We can book you in advance for the week or month, or if you prefer to keep your options open we can keep you available for last minute relief work.
We are coming up to our busiest time of year so we therefore need chefs who are ready and willing to hit the ground running – immediate starts will be much appreciated. If you have a notice period at your current job, come in and register and we can get you some advance bookings ready for when you are available.
What you need:
* Your own whites; clean and presentable including safety shoes and hat – remember you are representing us as well as you!
* Your own set of knives
* You need to be eligible to live and work in the UK with a valid passport or visa.
* Your health and hygiene certificates must be up to date
* You must be fluent in at least spoken, if not written English
* We will also ask that you provide us with at least two up to date references before you start work.
* Be on time! If you think you are going to be late or not going to make it in, let us know ASAP
