Executive Head Pastry Chef 5 Star Hotel Hong Kong

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to become the Executive Pastry Chef for one of Hong Kong’s most exclusive 5 Star Hotels.

As the Executive Pastry Chef you will report into the Executive Head Chef for the hotel and be fully responsible for all aspects of pasty cooking in an operation that consists of eight restaurants, extensive meting and events and a successful outside catering business.

This is predominantly a product development role where you will be responsible for designing and refining pastry dishes for the hotels diverse restaurant portfolio and high-end evens business. Reporting into you will be a strong Head Pastry Chef who will run the operation day to day and manage the team of over twenty pastry chefs. You will train the team in preparing new dishes and monitor consistency.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years pastry chef experience within a high end multi outlet 5 Star hotel or a Michelin level fine dining restaurant. A proven track record in developing innovative pastry dishes is also essential as is real drive and a creative side.
