Chefs needed for New Opening – AMAZING FOOD- Friendly Kitchen
Its a really special opportunity to be part of a new opening. All the chefs starting there at the same time and working together to build a really great team dynamic and work together to make amazing food.
I am looking for a Demi chef de partie, a chef de partie and a strong sous chef.
The incredibly talented chef overseeing the restaurant wants to make the place a welcoming destination, where neighbourhood locals and others go several times a month for a delicious blend of mouthwatering french and mediterranean cuisine focusing on sharing style dining.
The cuisine will be very ingredients led and have a frequently changing menu. Beautiful fresh local, sustainable and seasonal vegetables, freshy caught fish and top quality meats will make up the frequently changing menus at this thrilling new gourmet establishment. Everything is made fresh in house; smoking, curing and brining.
The best news for chefs is, you will see daylight! The kitchen is beautiful and on the 3rd Floor (Not a basement kitchen!) You will be able to see out the window as you’re slicing and dicing AND you will always enjoy time for staff meals (no randomly grabbing a handful of leftovers- staff meals will be a friendly and civilised affair, a chance to sit down and talk about the day)
The head chef is very keen for the team to work as that, in a team! Everyone must be willing to jump in and help each others if needed and vise versa.
You will work 7 shifts a week. Starting at 8am. Salary varies on position, but definitly competitive for London!
Experience in a high end, fine dining establishment is desirable and the sous chef would need Michelin or Rosette experience.
