Taste of London

Taste of London has become a regular entry on our summer calendar. Let’s be honest, what’s not to love about this event?! This year is no different as we eagerly await the event which starts on the 17th June and runs until the 21st June 2015 in Regent’s Park.

For those who haven’t been before, we’ve compiled a list of tips to help you make the most of this culinary experience:

  1. Book in advance – this event sells out every year and as it grows in popularity, tickets will be limited. Find out about different ticket options.
  2. Dress appropriately – despite not seeing much sun 9 months of the year, Taste of London drew in some amazing sun rays last year and the temperature was glamorous – don’t get caught without some sunblock, a hat (preferably a stylish one) and some sunnies. Oh, and try to avoid stiletto heels. The soft soil and green grass of Regents Park may not be so good to you! A jumper and brollie may not be the worst idea either, this is England after all.
  3. Pace yourself – if you are anything like us, you’ll race into Regent’s Park like a contestant on Supermarket Sweep; eating and drinking everything you can get your hands on, leaving only crumbs in your wake. This would be a mistake. With some of the best Chefs in London serving up dishes all day long, it’s important to be a little bit picky!
  4. Don’t pace yourself too well – you’ll be paying for food and drinks with crowns, a currency only accepted by Taste of London so make sure you spend them all.
