Haven’t heard of it? Well, it’s a fairly new event so we’ll forgive you just this once! Back for its second year, London Wine Week will be held from the 18th to the 24th May 2015, bringing enthusiasts and amateurs alike, a range of events including tastings, pop-ups, masterclasses and self-guided wine tours throughout the city.
Some of the best sommeliers and winemakers will be hosting and presenting so it’s a great opportunity to not only try some high-end wines, but also to learn a bit along the way.
Whether you like old world wines or have a pallet for the new world, you really won’t be short of tasting choices. We’ve also heard that some establishments will be getting their Head Chef’s to serve up food pairings, so no need to worry about drinking on an empty tummy.
Don’t miss out on what’s sure to be a very educational (who are we kidding) week. Buy your wristband for a tenner and make sure you book into any events you are keen to attend.
If you happen to miss London Wine Week, don’t despair as we’ve got a long list of wine bars you can visit any day of the week:
And with all this talk of food and wine, don’t forget we have a number of exciting Sommelier jobs available, as well as, Head Chef jobs, Sous Chef jobs, Chef de Partie jobs and Pastry Chef jobs (to name just a few). Get in touch with the team at Change Hospitality Recruitment to chat more about your hospitality job aspirations, we may be able to help you find that dream chef job.
