TECHNOLOGY FUN: INAMO
If you get a kick out of cool technology, Inamo is the place for you! Say goodbye to conventional ordering methods and prepare to be wowed by the slick interactive ordering system which projects the menu onto your table, allowing you to order from a touchscreen and completely control your dining experience. And that’s not all… you can also play games, set the mood, explore the local neighborhood and order your taxi home at the end of the night.
With cool technology comes one of the coolest chef jobs in London. Jon Claro serves up small and large plates of pan-Asian cuisine and you can expect to find delicious dishes such as hot-stone rib-eye, miso & yuzu salmon and tuna maki rolls to name just a few. Did we mention that they also have a brand new cocktail menu which showcases an Asian twist on some new and classical concoctions? Try the Cardamom Espresso Martini or the Plum Old Fashioned.
Receive 25% off at the bar areas of both Inamo restaurants for pre and/or post-dinner drinks, when quoting ‘Change Hospitality’. Offer expires 31 May 2015.
And as if Inamo hadn’t thought of it all already, they have even prepared for those days when you really can’t be bothered to leave the house, or the office for that matter! You can now order online through Deliveroo within a 1.6 mile radius of the St James Inamo.
We are always looking to speak to people looking for chef jobs in London so feel free to give Change a call if you are looking.
PING PONG FUN: BOUNCE
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a ping pong pro, then you will love Bounce! Located in the heart of Farringdon, this spot is the perfect place to hold an event, work up a sweat after a long day or simply enjoy a casual drink and bite to eat. And the most important thing about London’s home of ping pong is that it’s impossible to leave without having had a load of fun.
The Bounce Chef’s serve up a number of different options including bar food, canapés, kids meals, large table menus and an a la carte menu. We recommend trying their sharing boards or bites or a delicious pizza, our favourite is the spicy pork and fennel, plum tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, basil & fresh chilli.
If you are looking to grab a ping pong table during peak hours (any time after 6pm) expect a little wait. Alternatively, plan ahead and book your spot to avoid disappointment.
HIGH TEA FUN: THE GALLERY AT SKETCH
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to dine inside a luxurious pink marshmallow? Well wonder no longer… The Gallery at Sketch with its floor to ceiling baby pink décor and walls lined with the largest exhibition of David Shrigley’s artwork (239 pieces to be exact) is a feast for the eyes and we haven’t even gotten to the food yet!
Be prepared to be wowed by the high tea your waiter will present you with including assorted finger sandwiches served with a contemporary twist, sultana or plain scones and selection of Sketch pastries. We also quite fancy a waiter job at Sketch just so we can try out their cool outfits!
If tea isn’t really your thing, fear not! The barmen serves up a wide variety of champagne to accompany your sweet and savory treats and could even whip you up a cocktail if you so wish.
All in all, The Gallery is the perfect place to pop on something white (we suggest steering clear of pink) and show off your new spring glow while you sip on champagne and nibble on refined indulgences.
FUN IN THE SUN: THE ROOF GARDENS & BABLYON
London has some exquisite gardens but one of our favourites has to be the Roof Gardens in Kensington. We love these gardens first and foremost because they are free to the public to view, and who said nothing in life is free eh! What better way to soak up the lovely English spring sunshine than by taking a wonder in the gardens followed by a cocktail on the Babylon terrace.
For those not on a liquid diet, the Babylon restaurant offers superb contemporary British cuisine with Chef’s cooking up only the freshest seasonal ingredients. Choose from various set menus which are available on weekdays and weekends, as well as, from an a la carte menu.
It seems the Events Manager at Roof Gardens has also been very busy as they have a number of great events on their calendar including Rooftop Romance and Summer BBQs.
So grab those hay fever tablets, pop on some sandals and set off exploring the Roof Gardens, we promise you won’t be disappointed.
