New Places to Eat and Drink in London this Summer

New restaurant & bar openings July 2016

Rejoice! Summer has finally arrived and in true London style, we’ve all got the shades out ready for any opportunity to dine in the sun. Luckily there have been loads of new restaurant and bar openings this month so you’ll be spoilt for choice when hitting the town. From restaurants launched by those in Michelin star chef jobs to the less formal bao buns, bbq and poké – which has nothing to do with the hokey kind of pokey for those who were wondering.

Bronte
International cuisine with a South East Asian and Australian slant

Peyton & Byrne
A fabulous addition to their other stores, Peyton & Byrne opened their doors in Great Portland offering an artisan bakery, café and flower shop

Coppa Club, Oxford Circus
The perfect place for those who like to mix work and play, Coppa Club defies all normal restaurant rules by allowing guests to plug in their laptops and mobiles and work while they dine without any time constraints

Rök Islington

A Swedish inspired smokehouse which serves up bespoke cut meats which have been brined, cured and cooked on the in-house BBQ

Picture Marylebone

A new opening from three Michelin-trained London chefs offering British fare and reasonable set menus which start at £22

Bao Fitzrovia

Specialising in Taiwanese bao buns this is the perfect spot for a grab-and-go meal. Our only warning is you might need to prepare for a queue due to its popularity, but as the saying goes, “good things come to those who wait.”

Galvin at The Athenaeum

The Galvin brothers have earned themselves a great reputation as some of the finest chefs in the country, both having earned Michelin stars and successfully launching some of London’s finest restaurants. Galvin at The Athenaeum is already receiving rave reviews for its British inspired menu.

Ahi Poké

We love it when we’re exposed to new dishes from exotic places and that is exactly what you can expect from this little gem! Serving up poké, a Hawaiian raw fish salad, this is the perfect spot for a light summer meal.

The Four Sisters
A bar that throwbacks to old London residents

Soho Sky Terrace
A rooftop bar in the heart of the city, perfect for the summer months
