Valentine’s Day is a great excuse to go out to a new restaurant with your partner to indulge in a five-course meal and several bottles of wine. However, we know with the weather being cold and money being on your mind, the idea of snuggling on a sofa sounds way more inviting. If that’s the case, you’re in luck! We’ve asked the Alexandrie team in Kensington to share a recipe to cook for a low-key Valentine’s Day. Who knows, it may be the start of a brand new career as a chef?!
You will need prawns, squid, and a fish of meaty texture like grouper in 3 equal proportions.
What to do:
In the meantime, whilst you have a glass of wine, your partner can help you:
If you want to spice things up, chop a jalapeño and add it to the mix at the same time as the fish.
The proportion of the seafood should be about three times the amount of the mix of green peppers.
When your finished send in your photos of your final dish to our Twitter and use #lowkeyvalentines
