Thing’s to do in London on New Year’s Eve

If we are sure of one thing, it’s that London is the right place to be when it comes to New Year’s Eve. The city comes alive with celebrations, fireworks and parties. If you are desperately searching for New Year’s Eve plans, look no further as we give you the crème de la crème of end of year parties happening near you.

Duck & Waffle

Grab your best supper club outfit and head to Duck & Waffle as they’re turning the clock back to the 1920’s for their NYE party. From a live band playing retro tunes, to their state-of-the-art cocktail menu, the night is set to be a memorable one. Cánapes and champagne are set to flow all night, with stunning views across London’s skyline and the Thames firework display to see in the new year.

Tate Modern

Tate Modern is welcoming in 2019 with a night of food, drink and dancing. Indulge in their four-course menu with the Tate Cellar wine pairing in the restaurant, followed by heading up to the Blavatnik Building viewing level, where you’ll count down to the New Year with live DJ and spectacular 360-degree panorama views of London.

The NYE silent Disco

Silent disco pioneers, Silent Sounds, are this year taking over the Art deco surroundings of London’s Grade II listed Banking Hall. Pick your channel and choose your DJ as music varies from pop to rock classics, as you dance the night away. The muted party phenomenon has been popping up across many events throughout the UK and the night is already set to be a huge success, with over 500 party revellers predicted to be attending this year.

Join the party on the 39th floor at SUSHISAMBA’s Japanese inspired bar. Tuck into their signature sharing menu and cocktails, whilst enjoying an array of entertainment including swirling carnival samba dancers, drumming batucada’s and live DJ who will be spinning you into the New Year. Guests can choose from a number of packages for early and late dinners, and with previous sell out parties, we’d recommend booking now to avoid missing out.

NYE Mayfair Masquerade Gala Dinner Party

The Hilton Park Lane is going all out this year with a spectacular masquerade ball. The soiree will begin with welcome drinks in the Wellington Ballroom, followed by a three-course gala dinner and party in the Grand Ballroom. The menu created by Executive Head Chef Anthony Marshall will include a mix of Modern British delights, followed by an evening of dancing until the early hours.

Ham Yard Hotel

The Ham Yard Hotel will be opening its exclusive Roof Terrace for their New Year’s Eve celebrations this year. Tucked away from Piccadilly Circus, the cosy terrace will be throwing a night of acoustic music and selection of hot gin cocktails. For those looking to celebrate in a more chilled manner, this is the perfect location to spend your evening. Wrap up in a warm woollen blanket and sit under a canopy of sparkling fairy lights whilst you enjoy the soft sounds of live music.

St John’s

Why not begin 2019 in the delights of one of London’s favourite establishments? St John’s are throwing an extravaganza inclusive of welcome bubbles, a grand feast and Negronis which will lead the way to the dance floor. With long tables in the dining room, and whole roast suckling pig highlighting the menu, the night will bring friends old and new together as you raise a glass to the New Year.
