Incredible Head Chef Opportunity starting soon in Manchester for a well-known production and service kitchen, paying £25Kpa-£30Kpa!

An excellent vacancy has become available for a Head Chef based in Manchester looking to step into a fast paced, volume production and service based role.

The ideal Head Chef will have previous Hospitality and Catering industry experience in events or banqueting as well as restaurant service. You should also have previous experience leading a large team and the co-ordination of multiple functions and kitchens.

Head Chef, Manchester production and service:

* £25-£30K basic salary
* Managing of in-house events
* Managing of in-house restaurants

What we need from you:

* Previous experience managing a large team
* Previous experience in volume production
* Previous experience in restaurant service
* Passport and/or Visa where applicable
* Proof of address ie bank statement or utility bill
* 2 years of references supplied
* Food hygiene level 3 in line with Hospitality and Catering Industry Standards
* National Insurance Number

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to work within a fast paced, high volume multi-outlet and diverse catering environment. As Sous Chef you will lead your team and provide quality hospitality for large scale events on match days as well as smaller fine dining dinners.

You will have a strong background in conference and events whilst also understand local trends in order to drive the retail side of the business.

You will be adaptable, passionate about all things food and hardworking, have a can do attitude and ensure that those around you work with the same ethos.

Main responsibilities: –

* Catering for high volume number of covers daily
* Working in a large team producing high end, exciting, high quality food
* Developing, training and supporting staff
* Creating innovative menu concepts e
* Adhere to H&S and F&H standards
* Stock taking, ordering
* Deputise in the Head Chefs absence

Ideal candidate: –

* Someone who takes the initiative and drives for results
* Experience in high volume catering
* Exceptional culinary skill set
* Passion for high quality tasty food, and someone who keeps up to date with food trends
