This is an amazing opportunity for a very experienced Head Chef who wants to step up to a challenge to Executive Sous Chef role leading a large experienced team for a luxury 5-star hotel in Macau. With a strong culinary dining experience background from Michelin starred restaurants and 5* hotels, you will be responsible for the luxurious hotel restaurant, banquets, cocktail bar, pool bar and all day in-room dining operations.

This role requires you to be creative, personally performing culinary tasks and lead by example to direct your team in managing all food related functions. Continuous improvement on customer and staff satisfaction are key responsibilities, as well as maximising the P&L and all related cost controls.

As a leader of the team, you will be responsible for the recruitment and on-going training, coaching and performance reviews with your team. Team work is very important and an “open door” policy is encouraged in order to nurture a collaborative working environment with other key functions as well as your kitchen brigade.

Main requirements:

* 6 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area, especially in Michelin starred restaurants and/or 5-star luxury hotels is preferred.
* 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related major
* Experience in managing a large kitchen brigade and worked in the luxury F&B restaurants and/or hotels
* A good communicator, able to liaise confidently with customers and engage, motivate and develop team members
* Immediately available is beneficial

With a strong culinary dining experience background from Michelin starred restaurants and 5* hotels, you will be responsible for creating the menu to leading your kitchen brigade in this luxurious hotel restaurant.

This role requires you to be creative, providing guidance and direction to your kitchen in managing all food related functions. Guest service satisfaction is key.
