This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Executive Sous Chef, with strong fine dining background to be part of a catering team looking after a high profile client in Hong Kong. This role requires you to be client facing, creative, financially minded and process driven at the same time.

Creativity should also be in your field, from making your own menus to the quality and pricing of the food you produce. Ideally you will come from a wide range of culinary experience to match this requirement, candidates with experience in high volume fine dining banqueting experience will be advantageous.

Main Responsibilities

* To develop and prepare fine dining seasonal dishes driving hospitality sales and customer’s confidence in the quality of the offer

* Stringent costs analysis regarding recipe details and costings

* Liaison between client, internal customers and colleagues for effective event management
* Collaborate with lead sales manager to improve internal and external communication, especially on gathering customer feedback ensuring continued development towards outstanding service

Health, Safety & Hygiene

* To take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by what they do or what they fail to do.
* To co-operate with their line manager on HSE matters.
* To correctly use work equipment, personal protective equipment in accordance with training and instructions provided to them.
* To report HSE hazards, accidents, incidents, illness and diseases to their line manager
* Complete Level 2 HSE e-learning “Working Safely” (and Working Safely with Food, if appropriate) within 20 weeks of commencing employment.

Ideal Candidate

* Minimum 12 years of F&B experience in catering/food service business
* Data analysis skills including Microsoft office
* Passionate about food, understanding new culinary and molecular techniques
* Good knowledge of profit and loss accounts
* Strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills
* Outgoing and people oriented, works well with management to achieve business goals
* High standards and quality driven
