Hong Kong New Bar and Restaurant Openings

For all you foodies in Hong Kong, we’ve got a brand new list of amazing new openings that you need to check out.

Dear Lilly

Dear Lilly is designer Ashley Suttons latest masterpiece when it comes to creating breath-taking restaurant interiors. With bouquets of flowers swinging from the ceiling, a whole wall made from vintage perfumes, chandeliers and staff in costume, this place will have you feeling like you’re dining in a real-life fairy-tale.  Alongside the charming interior, Dear Lily is offering a contemporary Western menu and 1920’s inspired cocktails.

Former Executive Chef of The Four Seasons, Grégoire Michaud has brought his own artisanal bakery and café to Hong Kong.  Grégoire has had more than 25 years of baking experience which explains the queues that have already been forming during Bakehouse’s soft launch. If you’re a lover of tasty baked goods, the sourdough bread and croissants will be worth the wait!

This new restaurant is bringing contemporary Australian cuisine and the relaxed Ozzy atmosphere straight to Hong Kong. With a selection of light, medium and heavy dishes on the menu, from Poached Tuna Salad to Beef Short Rib, there will be something to cure whatever state of hunger you are in.

In true Moulin Rouge Style, you can anticipate glamorous interior, live nightly performances and a modern French fine dining menu at new opening JUNON. This new restaurant formerly known as JUNO is offering three styles of dining; The Bar, The Bistro Juno for the a la carte menu or in the LA Scene du Junon which is the main dining area. Seeing as JUNON is being brought to you by Cantonese pop star Hins Cheung and Hopewell Holdings you can expect an entertaining evening!

Wa Theatre Restaurant

The clue is in the name with this new opening! Wa Theatre Restaurant is bringing a theatrical experience to their high-end French-Japanese cuisine with each dish presented to you being “accompanied by an amazing culinary presentation and fascinating story-telling that will draw you into the mysterious part of Japan you have ever imagine.” The restaurant is surrounded by beautiful views of the mountains and sea, so it’ll be a battle between the food and scenery to see who takes centre stage.
