Simon Cotterill, Head Chef at Hawksmoor Borough had always enjoyed cooking when he decided to enrol in a hospitality & catering course. He quickly found that he preferred his time in restaurants as an apprentice chef to classroom learning.
Simon spent a large portion of his career working within the Marco Pierre White group where he was fortunate enough to work with many chefs that had been part of his team since the beginning including Matt Brown who is now Hawksmoor Groups Executive Chef.
Before joining the Hawksmoor Borough team in 2017 Simon was Head Chef at Gordon Ramsay’s AA Rosette Savoy Grill. Simon’s experience lead him to discover a passion for live fire cooking using the best ingredients possible and cooking them simply.
