With the Chinese New Year here if you’re looking for a new list of restaurants to add to your bucket list for 2018, we have you covered!
This new Japanese restaurant is in party central Hong Kong which means it could be the perfect place to line your stomach before you head out with your friends. They’ve got a menu including Ramen and Sashimi where the ingredients are flown into Hong Kong daily! With tonnes of Saki and Japanese performances to go alongside a great menu you really shouldn’t miss this place.
Chengdu native Mr Ren Tao is bringing his spin on the Sichuan cuisine with more mild flavours. If spice isn’t really your thing don’t worry, you can enjoy the Bon Bon Chicken and Chongzhou vegetable spring rolls without fear of sweating at the dinner table!
The casual atmosphere at Wako Teppanyaki makes this new restaurant a great spot to unwind after a long day. With delicious meat dishes such as the Wagyu Hamburger Steak and an award-winning sake sommelier you can sit back watch the chefs do their thing and enjoy your evening with ease.
Blue Supreme “focus on modern American bistronomy and bottle conditioned beers”. Their beers are bottled with live yeast which causes a secondary fermentation making them delicious! Chef Leonard Cheung was born and raised in California, so you can expect US based dishes. It’s basically impossible to get bored of this place because their menu changes weekly!
This new cool contemporary Asian tapas style restaurant is probably going to be the number one spot to catch up with your friends in Wong Chuk Hang. With old school tunes, an artsy terrace and cocktails such as Longevity Tree Sap (the sweet tooth’s version of an old fashioned) you’ll end up spending the whole of your Saturday afternoon there.
This simple family style Italian is the perfect place if you want some Italian light bites or if you’re on a low carb diet (the pizza bases are seriously thin, you don’t have to feel a shed of guilt). The restaurant also has massive windows which means lots of natural light to get some Instagram worthy snaps.
From the name of this restaurant it is very clear that Veganism is growing in Hong Kong and effectively taking over the world! The menu is simple and affordable with vegan tortillas, veggie lactose-free pasta, vegan burgers, and vegan pizzas. Safe to say if you’re a vegan this is a must try!
This restaurant just opened in Wanchai and is offering a new take on omakase style dining. The inability to choose your dishes may not appeal to some but here the food is presented on a distinct staircase with the first course at the bottom, so you know in which order to eat your food. At least you won’t have the trouble of food envy!
With an extensive menu of all different types of dishes this is the perfect place if you’ve got friends who can never make their mind up about what they want for dinner. It also has an open kitchen so whilst you wait for your food you can be entertained by live chef action!
